Art Deco Vintage Ring 14k Solid Gold with Colombian Emerald set in Platinum Prongs

I held on to this empty setting from the melt pile for a while. Putting a diamond in it didn't feel quite right, though that's probably what was there originally. I decided to add a natural emerald - Colombian. 

I took 81 pictures of this ring in different types of natural light. I tried for a while to cull down what I would post here but... I still couldn't cull further from these 29 photos. This Colombian emerald is gorgeous -- a true gum drop emerald. It shimmers differently in direct sunlight, indirect light, and even comes alive in the shadows.
